About this project
The Green Climate Fund (GCF) Readiness programme is a funding programme to enhance country ownership and access to the Fund. It provides resources for strengthening the institutional capacities of National Designated Authorities or focal points and Direct Access Entities to efficiently engage with the Fund. It also assists countries in undertaking adaptation planning and developing strategic frameworks to build their programming with the GCF.\n\nUNOPS assists the work of the GCF through grant support management support services. This Readiness support will be executed by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Argentina with Fundación Avina as implementing (delivery) partner and complements other Readiness proposals for Argentina, already approved by the GCF.
