About this project
The Green Climate Fund (GCF) Readiness and Preparatory Programme supports National Designated Authorities to build climate management capacity. \n\nUNOPS is supplying grant management support to the Green Climate Fund for a pilot project of hydro agricultural perimeters development with smart agricultural practices, resilient to climate change in Niger, composing of:\n\n(i) a technical, economic and financial feasibility study; \n(ii) an environmental and social studies (environmental and social impact assessment, gender analysis and pests and pesticides management plan);\n(iii) formulation of the funding proposal; and \n(iv) the preparation of the management agreement document between the National Office for Irrigation Schemes (ONAHA) and the Government of Niger
