About this project
The project will focus on (i) the rehabilitation of EN1 between Guadalupe and Neves and of the Lagarto Bay Marginal Road (ES101), and (ii) the strengthening of institutions to support climate resilient road asset management and improved road safety. These interventions aim to enhance climate resilience and road safety through slope stabilization, drainage restoration, coastal defenses, and the use of grey and green infrastructure, including nature-based solutions (NBS). Component 2 includes technical assistance and institutional capacity building to improve climate-resilient and gender-responsive road asset management. Component 3 supports project management and monitoring, while Component 4 (CERC).
