Mit der Maßnahme wird der Ausbau der indischen Stromnetzinfrastruktur (Green Energy Corridors) finanziert, um die Erzeugungskapazitäten aus erneuerbaren Energien an das Netz im Bundesstaat Uttar Pradesh anzubinden. Modulziel ist es, einen Beitrag zu einer sichereren, klima- und umweltfreundlicheren Stromversorgung zu leisten. Projektträger ist der Netzbetreiber Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd.. Darlehensnehmer ist das indische Finanzministerium.
