About this project

Das Vorhaben umfasst eine weitere Phase der Finanzierung umweltgerechter städtischer Infrastrukturinvestitionen in Odisha. Ziel ist die Verbesserung der Umweltsituation sowie der kommunalen Leistungserbringung und damit auch der Lebensbedingungen der lokalen Bevölkerung. Es wird ein zinsverbilligtes Darlehen als Kreditlinie an das Housing and Urban Development Department der Regierung von Odisha gegeben, das diese an den Odisha Urban Infrastructure Development Fonds weiterleitet. Dieser stellt den Kommunen und anderen staatlichen Trägern Finanzierungen für kommunale Infrastrukturinvestitionen mit positiven Umweltwirkungen zur Verfügung.
