About this project
The project aims to improve the livelihoods of indigenous communities in remote areas through the provision of renewable electricity. The project aims to empower relevant government, private sector and civil society actors to become more involved in the promotion and implementation of locally operated renewable energy systems to enable sustainable and self-determined development processes in rural areas. An important measure in this context is the strengthening of community-based operator associations and their federation.
