Promoting Urban Transformation

About this project

Urban development takes little account of the concerns of the poor, urban climate protection and sustainable development. The urban poor should be protected from evictions, negative consequences of climate change and other disasters, and their concerns should be considered in the context of urban transformation. By supporting grassroots groups, holding workshops and specialised events on sustainable, socially inclusive and climate-friendly urban development, networking and cross-sectoral alliance building, the aim is to ensure that these concerns are considered in municipal decision-making.
