About this project

More than 96% of the population is exposed to natural hazards. Climate change therefore poses an extremely serious threat to the country. Less rainfall and more heat lead to lower agricultural productivity, more difficult access to clean water, more climate-related diseases and a loss of biodiversity. The project aims to engage civil society in shaping improved livelihoods in terms of socio-ecological transformation. Measures include public relations, advocacy and networking.
