Strengthening the socio-economic and environmental capacities of farming families in Haiti

About this project

The project contributes to the establishment of sustainable and economically viable agriculture and to the improvement of the environmental situation, the health status and the socio-economic situation of the families involved in the project region. The population faces the challenges and difficulties in a well-organised way and is better prepared for the negative consequences of climate change and the effects of the severe political and economic crisis in the country.Measures include agro-ecological training, establishment of tree nurseries and school education.
