About this project

The traditional smallholder way of life is the communal use of grazing land. Large-scale projects in irrigated agriculture, mining and energy are increasing rapidly. Expansion of monocultures, new development of mineral resources and increased efforts to generate energy through wind and solar farms are leading to land conflicts and displacement. Smallholder families are supported in securing their traditional way of life, especially their land rights, through information, public relations work, training of leaders, technical studies, legal support, among other things.
