About this project
According to a study about half of Brazilians are currently experiencing some degree of food insecurity, and more than 33 million are highly food insecure. The goal is to improve access to sustainably produced food and food security for disadvantaged populations in five municipalities. Central measures include workshops on agroecology, communication and healthy nutrition, support for the establishment of fruit, vegetable and medicinal plant gardens, and the construction of a solidarity kitchen.
