About this project
In Mexico, smallholder agriculture is threatened by drought and desertification in times of climate change, which is exacerbated by the irrigation of large-scale advocado plantations. The project works with indigenous farmers, some of whom have formed cooperatives. The aim is to strengthen the local groups and improve their knowledge of the water situation so that they are able to take joint action and better represent their interests.
