Food security through smallholder initiatives in rural parts of Pakistan

About this project

Ziel ist die verbesserte Anpassungsfähigkeit von 1.300 Kleinbauernfamilien an den Klimawandel und somit ihre erhöhte Ernährungssicherheit. Ein Großteil soll auf künftige Katastrophen vorbereitet werden. Zudem sollen sie ihre Interessen politisch einbringen können und die Umsetzung von klima- und umweltfreundlichen Gesetzen und Politiken erreichen können. Bauernorganisationen werden bei der Umstellung der Landwirtschaftspraktiken auf klimafreundliche Anbaumethoden beraten, Praktiken des Katastrophenrisikomanagements und der Produktionsoptimierung werden vermittelt.
