About this project

Indias rapid urbanisation is leading to a massive expansion of infrastructure and built structures. Almost 44 percent of Indias fast-growing carbon emissions are urban emissions from transport, industry, buildings. Elements of pro-poor and climate-friendly urban and mobility planning are to be implemented. Awareness-raising and capacity-building measures will be taken by various actors from politics, administration and civil society. Target groups are governmental and non-governmental institutions, organisations at all levels.
