About this project

The project region is one of the areas of Bolivia most affected by mining activities and their negative environmental impacts. The aim of the project is to strengthen the local population in their efforts to minimise the negative impacts of mining activities and to exercise their right of co-determination. Awareness-raising measures, training and exchange events, legal advice and lobbying are planned. The target groups are primarily representatives of the indigenous and smallholder population.
