Strengthening community organisations for a sustainable and good life in the target area

About this project

Climate change is leading to a shortage of natural resources and has a considerable impact on the nutrition and health of the local population, e.g. in the high Andes. The aim is therefore to strengthen civil society actors in the protection of natural resources and adapted methods for securing a healthy diet and environment. Workshops and consultations on sustainable cultivation methods and protection concepts as well as the purchase of materials for the establishment of organic gardens and afforestation are financed. The target group are local smallholders.
