About this project
For years, the project region has had the highest poverty index in the country. The main problems are massive deforestation, erosion and soil degradation. In order to adapt to climate change, adaptation strategies in agriculture and forestry, such as soil conservation and water management, etc. need to be implemented. The project supports smallholder families and schoolchildren to strengthen their resilience to climate change. This is done through awareness-raising measures and the training of multipliers on topics such as water consumption, hygiene, sanitation, ecological cooking, etc.
