About this project
The riverine indigenous population and the indigenous communities in the target region are ethnic minorities and belong to important target groups for Misereor. The designation of sustainable collective management reserves contributes to the adapted use of the rainforest. The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the resilience of the target groups by ensuring their land rights, economic autonomy and cultural identity. Both the strengthening of protagonism and the qualification in the field of lobbying and political influence play a central role.
