About this project
In the target region, the biomes are threatened by destruction through monocultures and large-scale infrastructural projects (soy port, large-scale expansion of roads, shipping lanes), and the traditional communities by displacement due to lack of land titles for the same reason. The project aims to strengthen traditional communities and human rights defenders/ in the defense of their territories, their food security, and their social and political self-help capacities.
