About this project
As a result of the ongoing crisis in Mali, the project is located at the interface between development cooperation, emergency aid and conflict management. By means of a comprehensive package of measures, farming families are supported in securing their food and generating monetary income. The management of local conflicts by local committees has proven to be an effective instrument for de-escalating local conflicts, especially over land. The coordination of emergency measures enables recurring food crises to be addressed in an equitable manner.
