About this project
The project contributes to the sustainable improvement of the resilience of the rural population to external shocks, especially climate change. Farmers, primarily women and youth, improve their incomes through local value addition and adopt agro-ecological practices and improved technology such as sustainable irrigation and storage concepts. In addition, local authorities and civil society actors are engaged locally, e.g. as producer organisations for economic alternatives and self-reliant resource management.
