About this project

Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) and participation in local decision-making processes will improve the resilience of vulnerable groups such as the elderly and people with disabilities to natural and climate-related disasters, in the province of Camarines Sur, Philippines. This is achieved through the participation of civil society organizations of vulnerable groups in DRRM decision-making bodies and through access to DRRM initiatives. Planned measures include capacity building workshops on inclusive DRRM regulations, public consultations with vulnerable groups on the content of these regulations, training on advocacy planning and strategies for civil society organizations, and training workshops on applications of technology-based DRRM systems for all.
