About this project

The traget group of 1200 housholds are from poor and disadvantaged communities and are suffering various discrimination. They do not have any access towards governmental support schemes and have no knowledge about their rights. So far no associations are existinng, and therefore no lobby and advocacy work is taking place. Exisiting self help group members will be mobilized for the set up of new associations for farmers, women and entrepreneurs. The newly formed associations will take initiatives to implement group based IGAs and to get public sevices. The associations will sensitize + strengthen the capacities of the target group and will support the improvement of living standards. Quality trainings will ensure that 50% of women will become leaders of the associations, that exisiting dependencies of farmers + entrepreeurs will be significantly reduced and marketing of their products be improved. The introducttion of organic products + climate friendly technologies will reduce negative impacts on the environment.
