About this project

The project is about reactivating vegetable production carried out by womens groups in four villages and involving 300 smallholder families in a common honey production scheme that is redeveloping in a natural area (mainly mangroves). The aim is to improve the own nutrition and generate additional income. It is therefore planned to secure fallow community gardens against free-roaming farm and wild animals by improving the fencing and to provide families participating in beekeeping with appropriate means of production/equipment, some of which will be shared. To increase the organisational and technical capacities of the target groups, practice-oriented accompanying training courses are planned.
