About this project
Water catchment management in Uganda is strengthened through policy reforms and their implementation at national level by improving the framework conditions and implementing successful strategies with the participation of civil society at decentralised level. The resilience and livelihoods of communities in the Lokere and Lokok catchment areas will be strengthened through cooperation between regional institutions and the implementation of measures in local communities in the catchment areas. Successful measures are also implemented in other watersheds as the results of sharing at the national level.
