About this project

The project promotes social cohesion and peaceful coexistence in the border area between India and Pakistan by strengthening cultural heritage and conflict sensitivity. It contributes to the non-violent resolution of conflicts and a greater awareness of the need for a sustainable environment. To this end, training is provided for multipliers, cultural events and other grassroots initiatives and exchanges of experience are organised between the target groups. They form a network on the topic of composite heritage and thus contribute to the non-violent conflict resolution. The target groups are women, young people, indigenous people, artists, cultural workers and media professionals, local leaders, and local and regional civil society organisations, with a focus on marginalised groups.
