About this project

Climate change, population growth and the seasonal distribution of rainfall mean that in parts of Cameroon, a large proportion of the rural population cite the supply of drinking water as their most urgent need. During the dry months, the population has to resort to polluted surface water, which often leads to water-borne diseases. The project contributes to the installation of an effective and low-maintenance gravity drinking water system in each of the affected villages, thus reducing water-related diseases.
