About this project

Improving access to basic social services, especially for vulnerable people (refugees, women and girls), 11 water points (2 gravity-fed systems, 3 new wells and 6 rehabilitated wells) have been built, approved and are in use. This means that the population in the catchment area has access to safe drinking water all year round. The households using the new water points apply good hygiene and sanitation practices. For example, 50% of the households surveyed regularly adopt appropriate sanitary measures, such as building and using local latrines.
