About this project

Local rural communities must be protected from land grabs, deforestation and the loss of their livelihoods at the hands of corporations. The densely forested province of Jambi is particularly affected here. At the same time, it is important that the potential arising from government programmes is effectively utilised. The foundations for this are secured as permanently as possible through improved access to government programmes, such as social forestry, broad networking for the production and marketing of their products, and the promotion of sustainable and inclusive policies.
