About this project
The project contributes to increasing the food security of around 400 families, some of whom have fled the capital to join their relatives in the north of the country due to ongoing gang violence. The families and groups supported will diversify and increase their production, be more resistant to the negative effects of climate change and have better access to drinking and industrial water. In the project region, there is already experience of improving the drinking water situation of the poor rural population. The goal of supplying the population with sufficient drinking water continues to be of great importance in the region. The proposed measures and the technology used are rated as efficient and technically adequate. The project can be classified as sustainable. The project partner has adequate equipment, qualified personnel and experience to be able to achieve the tasks and objectives with the financial support.
