Food security and empowerment of smallholder communities in Peru

About this project

In der Projektregion leben viele kleinbäuerliche und indigene Gemeinschaften, die von der peruanischen Regierung marginalisiert werden und von Extraktivismus und Umweltverschmutzung bedroht sind. Der Projektträger stärkt lokale Gemeinderäte und weitere Akteure auf Gemeindeebene, um die Bevölkerung in ihrem Kampf um ihre Menschen- und territorialen Rechte zu unterstützen. Dafür werden Fortbildungsmaßnahmen und Aktivitäten im Bereich Menschenrechte, nachhaltige Landwirtschaft und Gesundheitsvorsorge durchgeführt.
