Strengthening citizen participation in the context of multiple crises in Peru

About this project

Hundreds of thousands of people live in precarious and risky conditions in the urban catchment area. Neighbouring rural regions are threatened by socio-economic and environmental problems. The target group are leaders of local organisations, women, young people and rural communities and families. The objectives are to strengthen civic participation, gender equality through greater involvement in environmental protection, strengthening and preserving cultural values and knowledge and promoting agroecological production. Training, counselling and technical support measures are carried out.
