About this project
The programme aims to promote agroecology, food sovereignty and land rights. Around 300 smallholder families and quilombolas as well as 14 associations in Mato Grosso are to improve their living conditions through increased biodiversity, improved marketing and healthy food. Land protection and defence of environmental rights are also planned. The protagonism of women is a priority and they are to be more involved in decision-making processes. Monitoring mechanisms, further training modules, high-profile campaigns and agro-ecological markets are the main measures.
