Promotion of sustainable ecology in Bolivia

About this project

The project area is characterised by increasing drought, environmental and water pollution and deforestation. The project supports smallholder farming communities in implementing a sustainable and integral way of life. In addition to the diversification of cultivation, improved water management and the marketing of local production, smallholder organisational structures are to be strengthened. The main focus here is on promoting the participation of women as well as influencing and co-determining the budget planning of the communities.
