About this project

There are only limited natural resources in the project area with few opportunities for cultivation. Particularly vulnerable households run by women are supported in increasing their goat and chicken production, expanding the marketing of the animals and securing a steady source of income. Unemployed young people are empowered to set up their own small businesses in the value chain related to animal husbandry and marketing. Measures include the organisation of marketing and savings groups, training and awareness-raising campaigns.
