Integrated water resources management based livelihood improvement project, Ethiopia

About this project

The project operates in a rural region. The climatic conditions are extremely difficult due to a very severe drought. In addition, the region has been affected by several years of civil war and living conditions have deteriorated massively. Access to water has become more difficult and agricultural productivity has declined. The project promotes water infrastructure and agricultural income opportunities. The hygiene situation is also being improved. Trainings and counselling are offered for this purpose.
