About this project

The inhabitants of the project region are heavily dependent on agriculture. Women carry out a large part of the agricultural work, but are disadvantaged in many ways compared to their male colleagues. Agriculture is generally impaired, e.g. by the consequences of climate change or ever smaller areas under cultivation. The target groups reached join together to form groups and increase agricultural productivity, e.g. through various training activities. The aim is to increase income by opening up new markets.
