About this project
In many Brazilian cities, there is a permanent shortage of decent and affordable housing, especially for low-income families. The number of homeless people is dramatic, while flooding and other consequences of the climate crisis disproportionately affect informal housing estates. The aim is to empower communities living in at-risk locations to confront human rights violations and advocate for access to public services. In addition to legal advice and social support, lobbying measures and public relations work are carried out.
