About this project
As a result of the climate crisis, environmental degradation and a lack of economic prospects, smallholder families in rural regions of Guatemala are coming under increasing pressure and migrating to the USA in large numbers. The aim of the project is to protect the environment and improve the food security and the health situation of the local population. Training is provided in the areas of agroecology, environmental protection and community organisation. The target group are small farming families and agricultural promoters in the Guatemalan highlands.
