About this project

The project contributes to improving the water supply, strengthening resilience to the effects of climate change and promoting social cohesion in northern Benin. The project focuses on disadvantaged people and regions that could be controlled by violent extremist groups without sufficient and intelligent investment. In this way, the project also helps to curb or prevent violent extremism. Project measures include the construction of bore wells to prevent conflicts due to resource scarcity, the establishment of a training farm to learn about appropriate agroecological practices and initiatives to promote social cohesion.
