About this project
The project is being implemented in three regions of Peru. The main target group are leaders of indigenous grassroots organisations. The aim is to place the rivers in the project area under special protection in order to preserve the habitat of the neighbouring communities and their livelihoods. To this end, training courses are designed and implemented and lobbying is carried out through radio programmes, social media and networks. Particular emphasis is placed on gender equality and the participation of young people.
