About this project

The suburban districts in the project area are particularly hard hit by the consequences of climate change due to their geographical characteristics. The local population is affected by poverty, a lack of prospects and a lack of access to water and other basic goods. The aim is to promote local food production and sustainable water management as well as to empower local communities to claim their rights. This is why agroecological, advocacy and networking measures are financed. The target group is particularly vulnerable families in peri-urban communities and, in particular, households headed by women.
