European Flagship Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine

About this project

Der European Flagship Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine soll mit Zuschussfinanzierungen Deutschlands, Frankreichs, Polens, Italiens sowie der Europäischen Kommission privates Kapital für Investitionen in das Eigenkapital privater Infrastrukturprogramme in der Ukraine mobilisieren. Diese Finanzierungen werden umgesetzt durch die KfW, Proparco, CDP, BGK und die Europäische Investitionsbank. Sie sollen als sogenannte First Loss-Tranche die Risiken für private Investoren reduzieren und ihnen somit einen Einstieg in den aktuell herausfordernden Private Equity Markt in der Ukraine ermöglichen. Damit soll ein Beitrag zum Wiederaufbau nachhaltiger und resilienter Infrastruktur in der Ukraine geleistet werden.
