About this project

The district is home to over 200.000 people who have fled mainly from the neighboring country. Land is an increasingly scarce resource, which is fueling conflict. Many people suffer from trauma caused by the violence of war. Women and girls are particularly vulnerable in this overall fragile context. The project addresses both refugee families and host communities with the aim of improving general living conditions by increasing agricultural productivity, establishing value chains, conflict resolution strategies and trauma management.
