About this project
Climate change effects are increasingly dwindling water resources thus affecting agricultural activities, which are the main source of income for the rural communities involved in this project. The vulnerability of these smallholder farmers, exposed to climate change and food insecurity risks, is very high. To improve smallscale farmers life conditions, the project proposes a strategy that enables an integrated water and territorial management. Water conservation techniques, agroecological production, advocacy and empowerment of smallhoder farmers organizations, are the activities proposed.
