Advancing Human Rights Based Approaches to Strengthen Land Governance Processes

About this project

The project supports marginalised communities in their right to register land ownership with the relevant authorities and have it certified so that this community land cannot be sold to outside parties through unlawful sales. The communities are supported in the process of jointly surveying their land, having the relevant landtitles issued and managing the plots themselves. Especially women and young people are sensitized to make use of their constitutional rights.
