Community orientated setting up and extention of self-help potentials of persons with disabilities and their families in three districts in Uganda

About this project

Living, learning and professional skills of mainly younger persons with intellectual and other disabilities should be developed, in their family and community environments, which are mostly very poor. Other groups of the concerned population should be reached and get profit from the project activities. The families and their members with disabilities will play an important role, income generating activities by self-help groups will be one of the main aspects. Human rights and inclusion aspects of concerned human beings in the communities shall be profoundly taken into concideration.
