About this project
The project aims to create resilient livelihoods and promote the socio-economic independence of refugees and host communities, with a particular focus on persons with disabilities and women in Yumbe and Obongi. This will be achieved through four key measures: Enhancing food security and income sources through sustainable block farming, optimized value chains, and the strengthening of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). Strengthening employment opportunities for women and youth, including young people with disabilities, through community-based, market-oriented training and targeted support for entrepreneurial activities. Improving access to financial services by promoting financial inclusion, strengthening community-managed savings groups, and fostering digital connectivity with financial institutions. Expanding access to primary healthcare services for persons with disabilities, developing an inclusive psychosocial support system, and establishing a referral system for specialized healthcare and rehabilitation services.
