Institutional strengthening of the Malagasy Red Cross in the implementation of the National Climate Change Adaptation Plan

About this project

The project aims to strengthen the capacities of the Malagasy Red Cross to effectively support the authorities in implementing national climate change adaptation and dis-aster risk management measures. Local authorities and decentralized services will be enabled to operationalize national frameworks, political measures, and climate risk management systems, linking climate adaptation and disaster risk management and putting them into practice. This will provide vulnerable communities with the opportunity to take concrete actions to sustainably enhance their resilience to negative impacts of climate change
