About this project

The project aims to improve food security and the conservation of natural resources in the project region. Around 300 families will be supported for the first time in establishing agroecological cultivation areas, diversifying their production and learning and applying adapted methods. Another aspect will be soil conservation. The focus is also on food processing (manioc and peanuts), which is intended to help the supported producers increase their income through the sale of finished products. Measures include the establishment of agroecological gardens, training for producers and animal keepers, the purchase of animals, the cultivation of animal feed, vaccination campaigns for animals and the establishment of a food processing plant.
